a variety of vocal-piano music with a pop-classical fusion--which include a lullabye to my daughter, angel songs, September 11 dedications, and other music that contain a universal message of greater self-awareness.

I started piano lessons at age (5) when my family discovered I had the gift of “perfect pitch”. My parents strongly encouraged me to develop my musical talents and gifts. I trained as a classical pianist, taking private lessons from several different teachers until I was (18). During my senior year in high school, I performed in several piano competitions. As a result of winning one of those competitions I was given the opportunity to play with a local symphony orchestra where I performed a movement of the Rachmaninoff’s 1st piano concerto.

I received a piano performance scholarship from a university. During my only year at there, I performed in a solo freshman piano recital. I spent the summer of 1983 in Yellowstone National Park, where I played piano at the Mammoth Hot Springs Resort.

In 1989, my wife Tami got me started writing music for her lyrics. I continued to develop my songwriting after that. During the past 8 years (since 1998), most of the songs and piano pieces (a total of 30 in all) were created for these two CDs that were released this year (2006).

I performed a solo classical/pop concert on February 3, 2006 at the local community college in my area where over 600 people attended. It marked the release of my new CDs which I'm featuring on CD BABY.
